Jasmine tea is a specialty originating from Fujian, China, made by mixing fresh flowers with green tea leaves. The tea (which we call hygroscopic) naturally absorbs the scent of the flowers and gives a fresh and intense infusion, with a sweet and floral aftertaste that lingers on the palate. Popular around the world, it is also excellent cold and goes wonderfully with fish dishes, chicken, steamed vegetables and rice, as well as biscuits.
Preparation suggestion: 2/3 g for 200 mL of mineral water at 80/85°C. Infusion time: 2/3 minutes.
