Assam, a state in northeastern India that includes the Brahmaputra River valley, is a natural habitat for tigers and elephants, but also the largest tea-producing region in the world. Assam TGFOP black tea gives an orange-red infusion with aromatic notes of malt and tobacco. Its strong flavor makes it an ideal tea for breakfast, sweet or savory, and allows the addition of a splash of milk. TGFOP stands for Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe and indicates the quality of the tea.
Preparation suggestion: 2/3 g for 200 mL of mineral water at 90°C. Infusion time: 3 minutes.
